Mom's New "DO"

Mom had a rough start to the morning "I DO NOT WANT MY HAIR CUT OR COLORED" but by the time it was colored and styled she thought she was the "cock of the walk", us girls were even told to walk 10 steps behind her! WE LOVE OUT MOM'S NEW HAIR!!! Love you MOM!

Easter Fun

I don't think I blame Emma for being scared of the Easter bunny...yikes!

The Holmes and Dahmers had a fun Easter dinner and egg hunt for the girls. You should have seen Emily and Ashlyn go after those eggs. Luckily, there were no injuries...although a couple of elbows were thrown.

My First Bike!

One of Ashlyn's birthday presents was a new bicycle. Everytime we would see a bike at the store, she would beg to ride it. So, last night, we wrapped up her new helmet and had her open it first. She knew right away that it was a helmet you wore when you rode a bike. We asked her if she had a bike...and she said no. We asked if she was sure and told her to go look out in the garage. I think the second picture describes her reaction the best.:)

Yummy Care Bear Cake!

This birthday was a Power Tumbling Care Bear Party. Really, the only thing Care Bear was a balloon and the cake.:) Mom sure has fun making these fun cakes and watching the kids enjoy it. (Oh yeah, and Mom and Dad seemed to like it, too.:))

Ashlyn's 3rd Birthday

Ashlyn had a very fun birthday yesterday! We had a fun time at the Power Tumbling Gym, then we came back to the house for pizza, cake, ice cream and fun! When she woke up on her birthday, she saw all of the balloons and table set-up and she said, "Mom, this is great!" It made it all worth it!:)

Ok so I am a little behind on blogging.... Sorry.
Here is the Holmes family celebrating one of their favorite holidays, Halloween. Brigham this year was an adorable bear, thanks again to Aunt Lynne's adorable costume. Emily wanted to be something with wings so Tinker Bell fit perfect. James and I really enjoyed dressing up as a dead bride and groom and we need to thank Jenni for the great makeup job. Happy late Halloween.


 

First Snow

The first snow of the season! This morning was so much fun as Ashlyn, Emma and I braved the cold to play in the snow. Ashlyn loved every single bit of it, while Emma had thoughts of a warm cozy blanket dancing in her head.

...and others prefer a snake!Just another one of Ashlyn's "I'm not going to sleep in my room" episodes. Caught in the hallway upstairs with baby doll, Emma's birthday bear, water, and a book. What else do you need? 

Happy Halloween

As you can see, we had a very fun and tiring Halloween. Emma was the cutest purple dragon you've ever seen, and Ashlyn was a pretty, glittery ghost. We dressed up and went to Omniture in the afternoon for some office trick-or-treating (I'll have to send a picture of Josh's Karate Kid Shower costume ASAP). The kids had a blast, and Ashlyn made out like a bandit. The plan was to go home, have some birthday dinner for Josh and Emma, and then hit the neighborhood. Well, Omniture was just a little too much fun - they both were zonked by the time we got home. So, instead, Josh had fun scaring all the trick-or-treaters that came to the house. All-in-all, it was a very fun Halloween.
