Well what a special day. Scott and I are so proud of the decision Jake and Shuanie made to be sealed in the Timpanogas Temple. We included a picture of Shuanie's family which include (in order) Amelia (sister), Jake, Shaunie, Jonie (mom) and Jennifer (sister)

Yellowstone Reunion
I know....1001 pictures. But if you blow-it up, it's not that bad. July was the month of the reunions. First, my family went to a cabin in Sundance right after the 4th and had a fabulous time (no post yet, sorry). Then, two weeks later, we were up at the Dahmer/Lund Cabin in Yellowstone. Here are just some of the pictures from our fun trip. The mosquitoes were bearable (thanks to a great new product), the birthday party was loads of fun, the baptism was very special, the water was cold-yet enjoyable, and spending time with family was priceless. Thanks for some fun memories!

Happy Birthday Jenni!...or Grandma?
Happy Birthday Aunt Jenni. We love you despite the lack of connection displayed in the song. ;)
By the way, you're guaranteed a Happy Birthday since Ashlyn prayed for it this morning. What else do you need? :D

Brigham James Holmes up to no good!
Here is the latest and one of many little suprises I find when I am done nursing Kate. If you look closely you will see he has a dish towel wrapped around his waist. We had just finished watching the movie "Ratatouille" and I think he thought he was ready to take on the culinary skills.

The Suspense is too much sometimes...
Just had to pass this along since we thought it was so funny. Our friends (James & Diana Hodges) shared this with us. Enjoy!

The Emma Saga
Who would have thought that such a precious, sweet, adorable girl could cause so much trouble. The story goes something like this. Last night, after the kids were in bed, Josh and I decided to have a little date doing yardwork. We put the kids to bed a little early because we'd had a pretty full day, but we kept the front door open so we could hear them...or so we thought. At around 8:45, Ashlyn comes running out the door in a panic saying that Emma has gotten into Mommy's make-up. (Mommy's make-up is located in the top right shelf of the medicine cabinet in Mommy's bathroom.) I tell Josh that he could handle this one, and I would finish up the yardwork. One minute later, Josh yells from out our window that I need to come up. This is the precious face that I came up to. Thankfully, the make-up was limited to Emma's face and hands, and not my bathroom or bedroom. A hearty scrub in the tub was able to rememdy this situation. Just another chapter in the never-ending Emma Saga.:)

Ehtan's Crawling
Hey, it worked! Here's another link to one more video of Ethan. I know, I'm on a roll.
Baby Talk
I'm trying out this new link function. I posted a video on our blog, and instead of trying to upload it to three different blogs, I thought I'd just try to link it. We'll see how it goes.

Where is Emma????
It's 10:07 PM on Monday night. I go upstairs to get ready for bed and check in on the kids to make sure they are covered up and ready for a blissful night of sleep. Ethan is sleeping peacefully, Ashlyn is snuggled in bed surrounded by countless stuffed animals, and Emma is...Emma is...not in her bed. She's not in Ashlyn's bed. She's not underneath her bed. She's not in my room. She's not in my bathroom. She's not in the kid's bathroom. She's not in the closet...okay, I'm getting a little panicky now. I solicit Josh's help. She's not in the toy room downstairs, not the kitchen, not the garage, not the living room....where could she be???!!! Back upstairs...there's one place we haven't looked - the toy box. Yes, my friends, Emma had climbed into the toy box, shut the lid, and fallen asleep. What could be more cozy than sleeping in a crammed box on top of your toys? Definitely not your bed.:)

Happy Birthday Molly!
Please note that the parents of the children in the video did not instruct the children to pick their noses during the video.

Easter Eggstravaganza!
I think we took over 100 pictures on Easter Day. I had so many to choose from, I had to do these collages to blog as many pictures as possible.:) We had fun with the Popes doing a little Easter Egg "Pick-up" in the backyard (it wasn't much of a hunt).:) Here are some of my favorite memories from this Easter.
During the Easter Egg Hunt, Ashlyn had found lots of the dyed eggs. When she found her first plastic Easter egg she exclaimed, "Look, there are real eggs, too!"
Emma's magnificent dance moves during the swimsuit fashion show.
Eating the most decadent, rich, chocolate frosting-filled chocolate cake...and officially ODing on chocolate.
Ashlyn, Emma and Ethan being absolute angels during church (truly, a miracle, seeing as it was Stake Conference).
Ashlyn teaching Ethan about the "resseration" of Jesus Christ with the pictures she had colored.
Ethan's sweet smile (but that's every day).
And, last but not least, being able to celebrate this wonderful holiday with family. Happy Easter!
Happy Easter!
I was debating about whether to get Easter dresses this year...Cassi talked me into it.:) The girls were so excited to dress-up like princesses (Emma took a little convincing) and Ethan was as handsome as could be. I've decided that it was a nice way to say that this Sunday was special and different from every other Sunday. We hope your Easter was just as special, fun, and filled with gratitude for our Savior, Jesus Christ - who made all of this possible, and so much more.

Starting back up....
I decided today that I need to start running again. I think I've done this about 12 times so far in my life. Why not again!? :) Anyhow, I thought I would post my progress so everyone can cheer me on. Here's my first run for 2008. I'll check back in with updates periodically. Anyone else running out there? If so, post away.

My First Haircut
Not even 8 months old, and we need our first haircut. This may seem pretty old to some of you, but this is a rarity in the Dahmer Household. Both Ashlyn and Emma didn't have their first haircuts until at least 18 months.:) Good job, Daddy. We have one handsome son!
